Adam Christie will be in San Jose and San Francisco for a few days after speaking at the Internet Content West seminar at Century City in Los Angeles on June 4.
Mr Christie is founder of "Modus-op.com" and author of "SiteWrite; a guide to writing for the internet".
"The demographics of internet use are changing," Mr Christie said, "so many corporations and organizations will be left behind and suffer commercially unless they widen their horizons and broaden their internet skills base."
Mr Christie founded his specialist enterprise after finding that many organizations had sites which lacked broad appeal and where the text was incomprehensible or alienated potential customers.
"It is reassuring that our approach is already becoming recognized by the industry," he said, "and that sector leaders have recognized that websites are still a text-based medium where design can often obscure meaning rather than enhance it."
Mr Christie brings an international perspective to internet communication, highlighting the weaknesses of insularity and teaching seminar participants how to overcome the inherent shortcomings of many US-based resources in the global marketplace.
He will be available for consulting discussions and in-house training events during his time in the Bay Area.
